ONBOARDING PROCESS

Candidates successfully complete all steps will be contacted by the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office Personnel Unit for processing and be given a Two-Week notice. New hires will: 

• Complete Onboarding with Personnel Unit staffs 

• Attend a three-day New Employee Orientation at the SFSO Training Unit 

*All New Recruit Deputies with Class 8302 Deputy Sheriff I (Entry Level) will attend a Two Week Pre-Academy training prior going to the Basic Police Academy.
