Deputy Yin #2433 proudly serves as the Recruitment Deputy for the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office, where he is dedicated to identifying and inspiring the next generation of public safety leaders.
Since joining SFSO, Deputy Yin has served in three of the agency’s four major divisions: Field Operations, Custody, and Administration. He is also a trained Emergency Services Unit member, supporting planned and unplanned emergency responses, critical incidents, and high-profile special events.
With a deep commitment to community service, Deputy Yin represents the Sheriff’s Office at job fairs, schools, academies, and community events across San Francisco. Known for his professionalism, approachability, and integrity, he works to build strong relationships between law enforcement and the diverse communities we serve.
